Our little guy turned one in late August and we were so happy to have my grandma here to celebrate with us! ❤
We had a fun little “woodland” party with some sweet family friends. Daddy grilled, the kids played and Ezra got to open his presents…:)
My grandma helped me make some cute little things, like these edible “acorns” (chocolate kisses + mini nilla wafers + butterscotch chips, all “glued” with nutella)…
…& our animal masks!! BAHAHA 🙂
Little Ezra was kind of tentative about his cake…(what a surprise after the way his big brother dove into his birthday cake! HA!)
(ohhh the mischief in those eyes!! LOL!!)
the oliver’s – an adorable couple – amazingly, they have kids almost the exact same ages as ours! (sorry about the strange tint in these photos…:( bummer)
(missing one here!)
(i should never be allowed to speak when the camera is out. i make the strangest faces. LOL)
he received the sweetest gifts – spoiled boy! 🙂 thank you friends & family. ❤
& we had a great few days before and after his party spending time with my grandma who made the huge journey out from kansas!! ❤ i was so sad thinking about having one of our baby’s first birthdays without my family here, so what a gift it was to have her kind and joyful presence in our home for a few days. she is so fun.
she said to me just before this picture, “so is this a selfie?” BAHAHAH!!
